NEWSLETTER – Summer 2019
Summer has arrived bringing beautiful sunny days and a new array of amazing handcrafts to our four shop buildings.
We are thrilled as new items arrive almost daily from our “regular” artisans, as well as crafts from many potters, jewelers, woodworkers and others who are new exhibitors to Crafts People.
We are showing brilliantly colorful handblown glass lamps, vases and bowls by local glassblower Michael Anchin. Esteban Prieto’s popular blown glass tumblers and Ray Mynatt’s wonderful bowls and vases add to the sparkle. Joe Cramp, one of our new exhibitors, has delivered his superbly crafted stained glass panels and mirrors.
The pottery shelves are filled with more work by Ralph Stupple (including his famous mugs!) and gorgeous bowls and mugs from his new porcelain collection. Stephen Fabrico has delivered fantastic vases, jars and bowls as well as his charming bird feeders and birdhouses.
Ed Meyer, our new potter from Kingston, is exhibiting his wonderful porcelain vases in contemporary and traditional designs. Sandra Pancrazi and Mary Martire just arrived with their one-of-a-kind clay pieces.
Cindy Sumerano from Hurley has added unique new pieces to our jewelry collection which also includes amazing lampworked glass jewelry by local artist Nancy Ebel.
See luxurious soaps made by Lorna Maskell and others, delicious and healthful elixers from Immuneschein, many new baskets and beautiful quilled greeting cards, all in Buildings #3 and #4.
Paul Miller’s bentwood red oak furniture can be found in all of our buildings and, of course, we have the brand new Woodstock Festival windchime from Woodstock Percussion as well as ornaments to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival. (50 years ago?!…difficult to believe).
Stop in any Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm Sip a cold lemonade while you feast your eyes on the creations of more than 500 contemporary craftspeople.
Wishing you all a perfectly lovely summer. Looking forward to your visit.
